as of October 12th 2008, I have installed Google Analytics on this blog.
this is a web-statistics counter for the visitors coming to read this blog: I've finally come so far that I'd like to know if there is anyone except me looking at this regularly :-)
so unless blocked by e.g. NoScript, this code will put your visit into a statistic update that I will be able to look at:
- where you are at the moment that you visit, where your computer is from
- your browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera)
- the screen resolution of your computer
this will be nice for me to know, also e.g. about using other languages, getting to know where there is interest for this blog etc.
if you do not want any data from your computer at all, please make sure that you block the site GoogleAnalytics from gathering this information.
